Rohan Laxmanalal, Board Member (NSW)

Rohan Laxmanalal brings a background in financial market operations and governance, with over a decade of experience in Australia’s trading infrastructure, including as a manager at the Australian Securities Exchange during a platform overhaul.

An AJP member since 2018, Rohan has run as a candidate in 6 elections at state/federal level and regularly supports grassroots campaigns and community outreach. 

He is deeply committed to the party’s mission of ending animal exploitation and building a just, plant-based future.

Outside of politics, Rohan is a Vedic meditator and public speaker with The Wilderness Society, where he shares the power of storytelling to drive environmental change. 

He’s passionate about whole food plant-based nutrition, self-development, and shifting public policy toward sustainable, compassionate systems that benefit animals, people, and the planet.
