As the National Fundraising Manager you will play a critical role in developing and executing fundraising strategies and initiatives for the AJP. As a not-for-profit, this is critical to ensure the Party can establish significant and sustainable income streams to continue its work into the future.
The National Fundraising Manager is a volunteer, non-office bearer position that reports to the National Board (Board of Directors) of the Animal Justice Party.
The National Fundraising Manager has the following responsibilities:
- Develop and implement an innovative national fundraising strategy in line with budgetary requirements;
- Develop and oversee the implementation of fundraising initiatives, including online, events and bequests;
- Assist State Branches to develop a fundraising strategy and execute successful fundraising initiatives, including for local, state and federal election campaigns;
- Assist State Branches to support fundraising volunteers as needed;
- Work closely with the National Marketing Manager and National Campaigns Manager to utilise social media and advocacy platforms to increase donations;
- Monitor donation trends to ensure the fundraising budget is met and provide advice as necessary;
- Build relationships with potential and current major donors to encourage future donations;
- Develop and manage a National Fundraising Working Group, including recruiting members and chairing meetings;
- Provide monthly reports and advice to the Board of Directors via the Director of Fundraising;
- Liaise with the National Secretary to ensure fundraising efforts are fully compliant; and
- Other reasonable and relevant fundraising work as required.
