Professionally, Lorna brings a wealth of experience from both her private and public sector roles and a career spanning almost 20 years. With expertise in procurement and commercial, strategy and governance, the last 5 years have seen her develop a passion in sustainability, climate change and advocacy work.
Personally, since adopting a plant-based lifestyle and learning about our food system she attended the annual Vegan Women’s Summit in New York which highlighted the evolving world of plant based food technology and provided global networking opportunities. Most recently she gained an Undergraduate Certificate in Sustainable Living, with the University of Tasmania.
Since joining the AJP in 2021, she has supported several events and campaigns, including targeted national and state inquiries. Lorna is driven to raise awareness and advocate for the end of factory farming and the mistreatment of animals across the fashion and beauty industries, reimagining a kinder world for animals, planet, and people.
