Charities that provide direct care to animals who have been harmed are important. So are charities that work to prevent that harm from occurring in the first place – through advocacy, education, and advisory work.
However, in Australia, donations to charities that provide direct care are generally tax deductible, while donations to advocacy charities working to prevent harm generally are not.
That’s deeply unfair when ALL of these charities are working hard to protect animals.
We've made it easy to take action.
Use our template email to ask the Australian Government to extend tax deductibility to ALL animal charities.
