Natashia Boland, Board Member (WA)

Natashia’s professional career as a teaching and research academic spanned over 30 years in Australia and North America. In that time, she applied her expertise in mathematics, computing and industrial engineering in collaboration with a variety of organizations. She brings experience in working with multiple stakeholders having different interests and priorities, on the organization of large-scale time-critical activities, in national research grant funding programs, managing teams of people with highly diverse backgrounds, and collaboration across national boundaries. Throughout her career, Natashia led initiatives to improve inclusion and diversity in science and engineering fields.

Natashia joined the Animal Justice Party in 2022, becoming a member of its Psephology Team, where she could use her quantitative skills to help inform AJP election strategy. She joined the AJP WA State Committee in 2023, and then became a National Delegate. She is committed to ending the exploitation of animals, ending all animal-harming industries, and restoring the environment – the homes of animals. She seeks a life of kindness for all beings and a sustainable future for all.
