With the Federal election approaching, we are turning to you for assistance with the first political Party in this country which has at its fundamental core an unswerving commitment to the well-being of animals with which we share this land and water. While only two years since its registration as a political party, the Animal Justice Party, with almost 1500 members, is standing 14 candidates, 9 of them women, in six upper house jurisdictions in NSW, QLD, VIC, ACT, SA and WA as well as in two lower house electorates in Victoria on 7 September.
Historic it is that there is now a specific political instrument which has been forged to herald a new and dynamic advocacy in our parliaments and councils for the many abused and tormented animals under our watch. The architecture of this Party has been assembled to ensure it continues into the future in Australia for as long as animals require a political voice in those places where so very many decisions are made which have deleterious effects upon animals.
There is a compelling and urgent need for a very special animal-specific voice in Parliament for the brutally exploited voiceless. A new door has opened for that vote. It is not entrapped with any compromise like other Parties which flout animal concerns. It is the Animal Justice Party.
If you can please spare any time leafleting letter boxes or at markets (see information below) that would be greatly appreciated. And most importantly handing out HOW TO VOTE cards at polling booths on Election Day.
