Tonight! Animal Justice Party Councillor Matt Stellino will move that the City of Campbelltown:
1) BAN the use of 1080 poison & Strychnine on all Council owned and/or managed lands.
2) Not recommend or encourage the use of 1080 or Strychnine to private landholders in any of Council's messaging/info packs.
Countless native, introduced and beloved companion animals are killed indiscriminately by these poisons and it is a slow, harrowing death. It is not morally justifiable and it is NOT the solution for anything.
This is why it's so important to have a voice for animals at every level of government – Federal, State and Local.
Remember to always Vote 1 Animal Justice Party and stay tuned to see how the City of Campbelltown votes on this motion.
